La Compagnie will
replace its two aircraft with a pair of A321neos when Airbus delivers them in
2019. The all-business-class carrier flies two daily flights between New York
and Paris. CEO Laurent Magnin pointed out that the new planes will be "
more in line with industry standards than our current fleet of Boeing
757s." The Boeings each have 74 lie-flat seats, arranged in rows of four,
two on each side of the aisle. A La Compagnie spokesperson said the Airbus
arrangement will compare but that the airline and manufacturer are still
confirming the design. The Airbus seats, however, will be fully flat, and the
new planes will provide Wi-Fi.
