The Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Support has
approved the joint venture partnership between Korean Air and Delta, the final
regulatory hurdle for the partnership to move forward. Delta said the two
carriers "beginning soon" will enact full reciprocal codesharing,
offer more reciprocal benefits through their loyalty programs and establish
joint sales and marketing initiatives. U.S. regulators approved the
partnership in November.
