Korean Air has completed its lounge renovations at Seoul Incheon International Airport's Terminal 2, the carrier announced Wednesday.
The renovated Prestige Class West Lounge opened Thursday, with the revamped First Class Lounge to open April 17. It features a buffet, cooking stations, a full-service bar, a designated work areas and a wellness area with massage chairs.
The First Class Lounge is 921 square meters in size, more than twice the size of the previous facility, and offers an open hall as well as 11 private suites. Meals will be served á la carte with Christofle cutlery, Bernardaud porcelain, and Baccarat and Riedel glassware. The lounge also will offer a wellness zone with massage chairs and shower suites.
The project is a continuation of the first phase of renovations completed in August 2025, which introduced the Prestige Garden Loune East and Prestige Garden Lounge West.
With the completion of the renovations, Korean Air's total lounge footprint at Incheon has expanded to 12,270 square meters from 5,105, and to 1,565 seats from 898, "preparing for increased passenger volumes ahead of [the] planned integration with Asiana Airlines." Korean Air finalized its acquisition of Asiana in December 2024.
