Refinery AltAir Fuels and fuel supplier SkyNRG have
agreed to provide biofuel for all KLM flights leaving Los Angeles International
Airport for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol for three years. LAX is the second
airport to incorporate biofuel into its regular refueling process, following Oslo
in March, according to KLM. The carrier aims to cut its carbon emissions 20
percent from 2011 levels by 2020.
