JetBlue has begun an interior redesign of its A320 aircraft fleet, a three-year project and the first major redesign since the carrier launched in 2000. The first redesigned A320 began service on Wednesday between Boston and Bermuda with elements from its A321 fleet, including new seats, lighting and seatback entertainment options. The carrier expects to do the same redesign on about a dozen aircraft by the end of the year. In 2019, though, JetBlue will switch to a new redesign, retrofitting "multiple aircraft each month" with expanded Wi-Fi connectivity, high-definition entertainment options and seats featuring more cushioning and more than 18 inches of width.
