JetBlue will continue blocking passengers from sitting adjacent to one another through July 6, the carrier announced. The policy blocks out middle seats on Airbus aircraft and the aisle seats on the smaller Embraer 190 aircraft, although those seats are available for customers traveling together who wish to sit next to one another. JetBlue also will begin conducting temperature checks for all pilots and in-flight crew members in early June and soon will employ electrostatic sprayers to fog aircraft interiors.
