Over the next several weeks, Finnair will begin new routes
to India and the Americas as part of "the biggest expansion phase in our
airline's 94-year history," according to chief commercial officer Juha
Jarvinen. Here's when the routes from Helsinki will begin:
- Nov. 1: Goa, India
- Nov. 5: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
- Nov. 30: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
- Dec. 1: Havana
In
mid-December, Finnair also will bump up its capacity to Finland's Lapland
region by more than 20 percent, including service from London Gatwick, Paris
and Zurich.
