Delta Air Lines in June 2026 will launch new service between Los Angeles International Airport and each Chicago and Hong Kong, the carrier announced Wednesday.
Hong Kong service will begin June 6 and operate daily with Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured with four cabins: Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort and Main. The addition of Hong Kong also "strengthens the Delta-Korean Air Joint Venture, further expanding the partnership's reach," according to Delta. The carriers launched the joint venture in 2018.
L.A.-Chicago service is set to launch June 7 with three daily nonstops operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft configured with three cabins: Delta First, Comfort and Main. It will be the first time Delta has offered nonstop service between the two cities, according to the carrier.
