Delta Air Lines and the U.S. Transportation Security Administration are introducing antimicrobial bins to security checkpoints at five U.S. airports this month. The black bins, designed to prevent the growth of bacteria, during the next few weeks will be introduced in Atlanta, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Los Angeles and both LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International airports in New York, and Delta will consider adding them to other markets after that.
