Delta is testing out seating with reduced recline on its A320 fleet, a move it said would benefit business travelers. A spokesperson said reduced recline would make it easier for passengers in the next row back to work on laptops and use seatback screens. The arrangement does not add seats to the aircraft or reduce legroom, according to Delta, which uses the aircraft largely for short- and medium-haul domestic flights. The first A320 with the new arrangement will be used this weekend, and Delta will spread the adjustment to the more than 60 A320 aircraft in the fleet over the next two months.
