Expedited security program Clear has partnered with Delta to eliminate the need for boarding passes at its biometric-enabled security checkpoints. At the checkpoints, Clear members who also have provided their Delta SkyMiles numbers can pass through the checkpoint with either fingerprint or iris scans; their boarding pass information already will be associated with their biometric IDs, and thus these travelers do not need to show their boarding passes. The biometric checkpoints, which previously had eliminated the need for travelers to show identification, are available at 26 U.S. airports.
