Brussels Airlines CFO Dieter Vranckx will become the carrier's CEO on Jan. 1, the Lufthansa Group announced. Vranckx has been Brussels Airlines' CFO and deputy CEO since May 2018 and has had several other positions within the Lufthansa Group, including leading group sales in the Asia/Pacific region. Current CEO Christina Foerster announced earlier this month that she was leaving the role to lead Lufthansa's customer and corporate segment.
