On Jan. 20, Brussels Airlines and Aeroflot will begin codesharing on their flights between Brussels and Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport. The codeshare crosses alliances, as Aeroflot is a SkyTeam member and Brussels Airlines is a part of the Star Alliance. In addition, Etihad Airways and Kuwait Airways will begin codesharing on Jan. 5. Etihad will put its code on Kuwait's flights from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait; Najaf, Iraq; and Dhaka, Bangladesh; Kuwait in turn will put its code on Etihad flights from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi; Belgrade, Serbia; Casablanca and Rabat in Morocco; Khartoum, Sudan; Johannesburg; Lagos; Nairobi; Male, Maldives; and Mahe, Seychelles.
