American Airlines has announced 15 new domestic routes in its summer 2020 schedule, including service to Alaska's largest cities and the Iowa and Mississippi capitals. Daily service between Anchorage and Chicago O'Hare as well as daily service between Fairbanks and both Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth will run from May 7 through Oct. 6. New service to both Jackson, Miss., and Des Moines, Iowa, from Miami will run on weekends from June 4 through Aug. 17. Other additions for the summer months include daily service between Los Angeles and Bozeman, Mont., and several weekend flights:
- Between Martha's Vineyard and both Charlotte and Philadelphia
- Between Traverse City, Mich., and both Washington's Reagan National and Philadelphia
- Between Bozeman and both New York's LaGuardia and Philadelphia
- Between LaGuardia and Kalispell, Mont.
- Between Portland, Maine, and Dallas-Fort Worth
- Between Nantucket and Philadelphia.
The routes are in addition to the new international service that American announced in August.
