In July, Air Canada will add several new domestic routes
within Alberta and British Columbia, including year-round service between
Edmonton and Kelowna and seasonal service between Edmonton and Victoria and
between Calgary and Comox. Those routes are meant to complement Air Canada's expanded
service to the U.S. announced last year, according to the carrier.
Air Canada also plans international expansion in 2018,
including:
- Adding service from Toronto to Shannon, Ireland;
to Porto, Portugal; to Zagreb, Croatia; to Bucharest; and to Buenos Aires
- Adding service from Montreal to Tokyo’s Narita
International Airport, to Dublin, to Bucharest and to Lisbon
- Adding service from Vancouver to Paris and to Zurich
- Changing Vancouver-Delhi service from seasonal to
year-round
