Yapta's FareIQ and RoomIQ air and hotel price-tracking
technologies for corporate travel have expanded from the U.S., Canada, France,
Spain, the U.K. and India to every country in the world. That means the tech
can account for fare rules and support "virtually any currency" across all international points of sale. Yapta
has applied the updates within its own tools and within global distribution
systems. "Functionally, it's a checkbox to select the countries our
customers want to activate," said president and CEO James Filsinger. Now
that the technology is available, Yapta plans to work with travel management
companies to reach clients in new markets.
