Sabre has opened a Latin America headquarters in
Montevideo, Uruguay, to join existing offices in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Bogota,
Buenos Aires and Lima. "Travel bookings made using our technology platforms for
the Latin America and Caribbean increased more than 8 percent in the first
quarter of 2017 compared to the same period in 2016," said Sabre Travel
Network chief commercial officer Alfred de Cardenas. "That represents the
highest growth rate since 2013." Sabre's other regional headquarters are
in London, Singapore and Southlake, Texas.
