Quebec-based travel agency Groupe Voyages VP has tapped
corporate travel AI platform Amgine to automate workflows in mining workforce
travel and medical repatriation services, the companies announced.
The agency first is using Amgine to streamline workflows on
its group and events desk, keeping agents in the booking process. That will
help the agency meet clients' growing expectations around speed and visibility,
the agency said.
"Partnering with Amgine allows us to bring automation
into our operations in a meaningful way while keeping our agents at the center
of the experience," Groupe Voyages VP general manager Steven Lang said in
a statement. "For our mining and medical repatriation clients, where
timing, accuracy, and responsiveness are critical, this is an important step
forward in how we deliver service."
The agency plans to expand use of Amgine over other service
lines in the future, it said.
