Amadeus Travel Channels has appointed Angel Gallego as EVP
of the corporations segment. "Helping corporations better manage business
travel and expense and improve traveler journeys is a key priority for Angel
and his team," a spokesperson said. He also will advance the company's
Live Travel Space, which connects buyers, suppliers and travel agents and
provides travel content to third-party sellers. Gallego previously worked at Amadeus
for 15 years, at various times as Asia/Pacific president; VP of distribution in
Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Latin America director.
