Concur Travel has integrated travel and risk assessment provider GeoSure into its hotel booking experience, the companies announced.
With the integration, users—including travelers booking with the SAP Concur mobile app and travel managers using the Concur Travel dashboard—can see GeoSure's GeoSafeScores related to hotel bookings. The scores are based on seven safety categories that show how secure a location is on a neighborhood level.
"By integrating GeoSure's real-time safety data into Concur Travel, we're giving users the situational awareness they need to make better lodging decisions, while helping companies support duty of care and reduce organizational risk," Concur Travel president Charlie Sultan said in a statement.
GeoSure reports having risk data for 400,000 neighborhoods around the world. It already provides safety scores to TripIt, which is owned by SAP Concur, and it also provides scores to booking platforms including Deem and Trip.Biz.
