Amadeus has partnered with carbon data specialist Squake to make its corporate carbon initiatives available in Amadeus' Cytric travel management platform.
With the partnership, Cytric users can access Squake tools including display of carbon emissions based on a company's preferred methodology, comparisons to give travelers context for emissions—for example, the amount of days heating an average home in winter compared with the emissions on a flight—carbon pricing and tools for companies to track and manage carbon budgets. The Squake tools can be accessed via a browser extension and can be individualized to specific company needs, according to Squake.
In a statement, Squake chief product officer and co-founder Dan Kreibich said the integration is "enabling organizations to better understand their emissions and take action to mitigate them."
