Occupancy and average daily rate increased year over year for Choice Hotels International during the second quarter of 2015,

the company announced Wednesday. Occupancy reached 64.7 percent, up from 63 percent during the same period last year. ADR hit $80.89 percent, a 3.8 percent year-over-year increase from $77.92. Choice added 139 properties to its portfolio, and its second-quarter net income rose to $35.8 million from $35.4 million in 2014.
