Choice Hotels International reported year-over-year increases in both average daily rate and occupancy during the third quarter.

ADR increased 4 percent to $85.38, and occupancy rose to 67.7 percent from 66.5 percent last year. The company added 129 properties during the quarter, through both construction and conversions, and its pipeline stands at 540 hotels, a 28 percent increase from the same period last year. Third-quarter revenue reached $241.5 million, a 12 percent year over year increase.
