Qatar Airways Group has increased its stake in British Airways parent company International Consolidated Airlines Group to 25.1 percent from its previous stake of 21.4 percent. Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group chief executive, in a statement said that its investment in IAG, which began as a 10 percent stake in 2015, "to date has been highly successful, and the announced increase in our shareholding is evidence of our continued support of IAG and its strategy."
