The Lufthansa Group's revenue increased 6 percent year over year to 35.8 billion euros in 2018, not counting the effects of new accounting standards. Traffic and capacity each increased by 6 percent year over year, as well, and load factor rose 0.4 percentage points to 81.5 percent. The airline group said unit revenue rose on long-haul routes but dropped on short-haul routes. The group reported a net result of 2.7 billion euros in 2018, down 8 percent year over year.
