Jet Airways has hired Athar Khan as VP for the Americas "to leverage the sales and distribution strength" of the Indian carrier's deepening partnerships with Delta, Virgin Atlantic and Air France-KLM. Khan joins Jet Airways from Delta, where he was director of financial services, and he also has worked with American Airlines and Qatar Airways over the past 20 years. His past work has involved "the establishment and integration of various joint-venture projects, accelerating growth and performance of critical routes in home markets and leading corporate and agency sales across the globe," according to Jet Airways.
