Trip.Biz has partnered to integrate Conferma's virtual card technology into the travel management company's Trip.Biz One booking platform, the companies announced.
With the integration, Trip.Biz—the full-service TMC powered by online travel agency Trip.com—is enabling virtual card payments for hotel bookings in the platform. That speeds up hotel bookings for travelers, without the need to use personal cards, and lets travel managers better enforce spending and policy on hotels, according to the TMC.
The Trip.Biz One integration is the first phase of a broader global partnership between Trip.Biz and Conferma, with which the companies plan a "platform-wide integration of virtual card payments," according to the companies.
"As we continue to expand our global footprint, integrating best-in-class payment technology into our business travel ecosystem at platform level strengthens every stage of the trip, simplifying processes, enhancing transparency, and enabling businesses to unlock greater value at scale," Trip.Biz CEO Tao Song said in a statement.
