Mid- and back-office technology supplier Midoco has partnered with payment platform ConnexPay to provide travel management companies and other travel sellers access to ConnexPay's capabilities.
With an API integration, travel sellers using Midoco technology can use ConnexPay both to accept customer payments and issue virtual cards to pay suppliers within the Midoco workflow, the companies said. That prevents TMCs and other travel sellers from having to manage customer and supplier payments across separate environments.
"Our goal is to give travel companies the technology and flexibility they need to operate more efficiently as their businesses become increasingly complex," Midoco Group CEO Steffen Faradi said in a statement. "ConnexPay brings deep payments expertise and the ability to support both customer payment acceptance and supplier payments, making this expanded partnership a natural fit for our customers."
Globespan Travel Management is among the companies' joint customers currently using the integrated payment workflow, the companies said.
