Travel and expense management platform Mesh is expanding into Canada via a collaboration with Canadian financial institution Peoples Trust Company, the companies announced.
The federally regulated Peoples Trust Company provides services and regulatory guidance around payments, lending and deposits to companies including fintech companies, challenger financial institutions and merchants. For Mesh, it will provide financial infrastructure for Mesh's spend management platform to work with Canadian customers.
The collaboration will bring Mesh "to the Canadian market quickly and effectively," Peoples Group chief client officer Will Keliehor said in a statement. "Through ecosystem access and regulatory expertise, we have worked together to bridge the gap between idea and realization, ultimately bringing more choice and efficiency in payments to Canadians and Canadian businesses."
