Travel technology company Fareportal has extended its partnership with Amadeus, adding services from Amadeus' Outpayce payments business to improve its payment processes to suppliers, the companies announced.
As a part of the agreement, Fareportal—whose brands include travel management company Travelong as well as online travel agencies CheapOair and OneTravel—has contracted to use the Outpayce B2B Wallet, replacing its legacy settlement process with virtual card payments. That "enables the company to take control of its supplier payments strategy, increasing acceptance rates, reducing friction and accessing new revenue streams," Carter Davis, Amadeus VP of sales and account management for the Americas, said in a statement.
The agreement follows Amadeus' renewed agreement with Fareportal in 2022, through which Fareportal integrated New Distribution Capability-enabled offers. Fareportal said the latest renewed agreement will let it "accelerate next-generation distribution."
