Expensify has integrated with Anthropic to make its expense
management tools available as a Claude for Small Business plugin, the company
announced.
With the integration, expense managers can analyze Expensify
card, expense and receipt data within Claude with natural-language prompts. For
example, they can ask which expenses from the previous month are missing
receipts or what was spent in a certain category over a certain period broken
down by vendor. Claude then will provide the answer, the company said.
"Receipts, reimbursements and the card statement are
where a small business's books fall apart," Expensify head of partnerships
Nick Tooker said in a statement. "Expensify already codes and matches
transactions the moment they hit, catches anything outside policy before it
becomes a problem and hands you books that are ready to close at month-end.
Claude now puts all of the specifics just a question away."
