U.K.-based Corporate Traveller has partnered with blockchain payment provider BitPay, enabling the travel management company's clients to pay for business travel bookings with bitcoin and bitcoin cash, a variation designed for smaller, faster payments. A division of Flight Centre Travel Group, Corporate Traveller serves small and midsize enterprises in the U.K., where the TMC has 20 locations. General manager Andy Hegley said existing clients drove demand for bitcoin payment. "We believe Corporate Traveller is the first business travel management company to offer this payment option to SMEs in the U.K.," he added.
