Travelport named Mark Meehan managing director for Asia/Pacific.

Currently managing director for Travelport Africa, Meehan succeeds Patrick Andres, who will depart Travelport late next month "to pursue opportunities more aligned to his background in the hospitality technology and distribution sector," according to the company. In Meehan's place, Travelport has appointed leaders in "three newly established Travelport sub-regions" to reflect the company's "growth ambitions" in Africa. Stuart Laird-Smith will manage North Africa; Peter Barry will lead Central, East and West Africa; and George Harb will lead Southern Africa.
