The travel management company hired former United Airlines sales and account manager Mike Lempke to serve as director of sales for the Western U.S. region. Lempke's career also has included positions at First National Bank of Omaha and National Research Corporation. Susan Thomas was promoted from within and now is Travel and Transport's director of sales for the Eastern U.S. region. Meanwhile, Phil Crofton "has transitioned to concentrate solely on large-market and global opportunities," according to a company statement. Crofton in spring 2013
joined Travel and Transport as managing director of corporate and global sales. Lempke, Thomas and Crofton all report to vice president of corporate sales and marketing Penny Watermeier.
