The Global Business Travel Association Foundation partnered with the Winit–Women In Travel association,
and the two groups will "begin exploring ways our organizations will collaborate around education and research," according to a Wednesday statement from GBTA Foundation executive director Daphne Bryant. Winit, founded earlier this year by Citi managing director and global head of general services and travel Mick Lee, is "a network of women and men who have come together to support the career development, promotion and visibility of women in the travel industry," according to the group. Winit will hold its launch event July 26 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
