The Association of Corporate Travel Executives and the African Business Travel Association formed an alliance
to collaborate on educational programs focusing on Africa's growing role as a "crossroads in global travel," according to the associations. ACTE and ABTA indicated they would co-host 18 annual educational events in Africa. ABTA was founded in late 2010 in South Africa.
