Swiss International Air Lines appointed Patrick Heymann to senior director of the Americas, effective May 1.

Based in New York, he will oversee "management, sales, marketing and general operations" for the region, according to Swiss. Heymann previously was the airline's head of sales and marketing in Russia and the Ukraine.
