PhoCusWright appointed corporate travel veteran Tony D'Astolfo as its managing director,
replacing founder Philip Wolf. D'Astolfo will be based in New York and start at the end of this month. He most recently served as chief sales officer for Groundlink, which he joined in early 2012 after leaving Rearden Commerce in December 2011. D'Astolfo ran the travel division of Rearden Commerce for nearly eight years after spending five years heading up sales and consulting at GetThere and, before that, about two decades in various roles at United Airlines. Business Travel News and PhoCusWright share a parent company in Northstar Travel Media. Northstar bought PhoCusWright in 2011 after acquiring BTN in 2010.
