FCm Travel Solutions launched a cloud-based reporting system including traveler "friction" data from tClara.
An extension of the travel management company's ClientBank reporting tool, the ClientBank Cloud platform lets users create custom reports and incorporate data from third parties, including non-travel data. "We've developed a data 'connector' functionality that draws on intelligence from a range of third party (or external) sources, which are fully managed by FCm," according to a statement attributed to FCm global technology leader John Morhous, noting that initial partners include BMO Financial Group, Concur, iJet International and tClara. Data specialist tClara provides benchmarks to help travel management professionals compare how traveler "wear and tear" impacts such metrics as sales and attrition. The platform also features a new user interface accessible via the web or mobile devices, and "embeddable" with such systems as Lotus Notes, SAP, Sharepoint and Salesforce. An FCm official told BTN that five multinational clients and two additional U.S.-based clients are beta-testing the platform. The company indicated plans for a global rollout during the coming 12 months.
