Delta Air Lines today announced the launch of codeshare electronic ticketing with Continental Airlines for travel beginning tomorrow and with Northwest Airlines for tickets issued and travel beginning Oct. 26.
"With a goal to reach 100 percent electronic ticket usage by the end of 2004, Delta anticipates it will continue to expand interline electronic ticketing technology with other major U.S. carriers in calendar year 2004," said senior vice president of sales and distribution Lee Macenczak. Delta also said its self-service checkin is available with more than 440 kiosks in its 81 U.S. cities.
