Corporate Travel Management Solutions opened a Las Vegas office to house its meeting, event and group travel department,

the travel management company announced Tuesday. CTMS last month appointed Henry Alexander to head the department, which serves the United States and Canada, as director of global events and strategic development. Alexander, who was previously director of corporate and special events at a destination management company in Las Vegas, also will collaborate with CTMS' North American business travel team. "We have experienced tremendous growth in the last year or two, especially with our meetings and events channel, and we'd been looking at growing that side of the business, which has been typically handled within our different branch offices," CTMS marketing communication manager Michelle Harris told BTN.
