Chicago-based AmTrav became the U.S. partner for global travel management company alliance International Travel Partners, replacing Alaska's USTravel.

ITP director of partnership relations Ian Epps told BTN that AmTrav got the nod over three other potential TMC partners. Epps added that ITP is focusing on building its presence in the Americas and expects in June to announce a new partner in Peru.
