Carlson Wagonlit Travel appointed Sony executive Chris Bowen to serve as senior vice president for the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Bowen, who has been Sony's managing director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, is scheduled to join CWT on Aug. 18 and become part of the travel management company's Europe, Middle East and Africa leadership team. He fills a position at CWT that has been vacant since Patrick Andersen moved to the United States in late 2013 to take up the role of president of the Americas.
