CWT Meetings & Events U.K. and Ireland named Julie Norburn commercial director, effective later this month.

Norburn, most recently a sales executive with London-based meetings management firm Banks Sadler, will lead "a strong team of dedicated account managers, marketing and supplier management who cover a range of specialist industry sectors including pharmaceutical, automotive, technology, [fast-moving consumer goods] and media," according to a CWT M&E release. CWT Meetings & Events is the meetings-management arm of Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
