Business Travel News regrets publishing an unsubstantiated assumption made regarding IBM's preferred vendors in the Corporate Travel 100 issue (BTN, Aug. 27). The preferred vendors that should have been listed were T&E vendors American Express and Diners Club and consolidated domestic travel agency American Express.
Business Travel News also regrets omitting McKesson Corp. of San Francisco, which, with $47 million in U.S. booked air volume, would have ranked 95th.
New Brunswick, N.J.-based Johnson & Johnson should have ranked 16th rather than tied for 26th because its U.S. booked air volume in 2000 was $175 million not the $130 million printed in the Corporate Travel 100. Worldwide air volume for J&J in 2000 was $250 million.
