American Express Global Business Travel appointed two technology executives, reporting to chief technology officer Philippe Chereque.
Based in New York, Evan Konwiser joined as vice president, Digital Traveler, "responsible for traveler-facing technology, such as mobile and the online booking experience." After founding predictive flight-delay app FlightCaster, Konwiser spent time consulting and advising, and most recently was co-founder and COO of Lark Travel Group, a "luxury leisure travel agency start-up." Based in London, Amadeus vet Christophe Tcheng joined as vice president, Core Products and Platform Architecture. He will head core point-of-sale, travel record and profile platforms, overseeing "data quality and protection, customer satisfaction, the integration of proprietary platforms with GBT’s international network and relationships with third-party technology vendors," according to Amex.
