Adelman Travel Group Buys Texas TMC

Adelman Travel Group today announced it acquired Fort Worth, Texas-based Pegasus Travel, a travel management company with annual sales of more than $25 million.

All Pegasus employees will join Adelman Travel Group, including Pegasus president and CEO Bill Davidson Jr., whose role within the merged companies is yet to be determined, a spokesperson for Adelman said today.

Adelman president and CEO Craig Adelman said the acquisition further strengthens his Milwaukee-based company. "With the addition of Pegasus Travel and our recent sales and retention success, we should see over 20 percent sales growth in 2007," he said in a statement.

Last year, Adelman accrued 314,582 Airlines Reporting Corp. transactions, an increase of 4 percent over 2004. Such numbers placed Adelman 8th out of 35 participating travel management companies in BTN's annual Business Travel Survey. Pegasus did not participate.
