Etc.venues, a London-based conference and events venue supplier, is expanding to New York City and will open three venues there within the next year. The first, to debut by the end of 2019 at 360 Madison Ave. at 45th Street, will offer 10 rooms across 45,000 square feet on two interconnecting floors. Each room will have art installations, natural light, high ceilings and spacious layouts. "We believe the New York conference market is ripe for disruption, and we're very excited to open our first U.S. conference venue in New York. It is one of the premier meeting markets in the world," said Etc.venues managing director Alastair Stewart. The company was founded in 1992 and last year hosted 900,000 attendees.
