In a world accelerated by artificial intelligence, self-serve
meetings platform Groupize is positioning itself as an AI-forward solution and
rebranding to Groupize.ai.
The company announced upcoming partnerships with AI-powered
group booking platform Amgine, as well as with Hivr.ai and MeetingsPackage to
deliver instant venue bookings that include live integrations with sales and
catering platforms to ensure real-time group availability, dynamic pricing and
seamless booking.
This week, the company rolled out a new natural language-driven
chatbot that organizers can use to create new meeting request forms. Called “Aime”
the AI agent prompts users to provide and clarify the requirements of their
events and then generates a meeting request form that can feed directly into the
Groupize.ai sourcing workflows.
Earlier this year, Groupize.ai launched what it called
Marketplace AI. Driven by its 2024 acquisition of The Vendry, Marketplace AI
aggregates and enriches data from more than a million venues and enhances that with
engagement from what the company claims is more than 150,000 monthly users.
Based on that data and usage, Marketplace AI delivers personalized
recommendations and side-by-side comparisons to the user.
The company’s first AI-driven enhancement to its platform was
Dsai, which it introduced in March for the Life Sciences vertical. It included
elements like facial recognition for attendees, but perhaps most important was the
real-time auditing to ensure healthcare professionals were licensed. It also provided
an integration into Concur for Sunshine Act compliance.
“Adopting the Groupize.ai name reflects our strategic
focus on transforming the meetings industry through AI,” said co-founder and
CCO Charles de Gaspe Beaubien in a statement. “Groupize.ai is more than automation—it’s
productivity out of the box while delivering advice, acting and saving meeting
planners hours per event."
