Small meetings booking and sourcing app Groupize has launched a
specialized division Groupize Sports. The company has tweaked its tools to
support team travel and will position the product to "start where other
registration and tournament apps end" by partnering with systems to be the
sourcing, booking and travel management system for sports team travel. Groupize
will license the technology platform to agencies, sport facilities, convention
and visitors bureaus and to other app providers that serve universities,
colleges, professional sports teams, youth sports and tournament organizers.
